Bears Bar Sitges

Bears Bar Sitges sits on Carrer de Bonaire, at the far end of Bear Alley, the short stretch of Carrer de Joan Tarrida that starts at Plaça de la Indústria. It is the gay bar in Sitges most closely tied to the bear community: the Bears Sitges association, which has organised events in the town since 2001, presents it as its official headquarters, and the bar sells the association’s event packs and T-shirts during the bear weeks.

The official Bears Sitges map describes it as open all year, with a happy hour from 21:00 to 23:00. Inside there is a bar counter and a cruising area at the back, while the balcony with its own outdoor bar looks straight down onto Bear Alley. During the spring meeting and the September Bears Sitges Week, the programme regularly includes a welcome night, a leather and fetish social and a Sunday underwear party here.

The atmosphere is relaxed and sociable, with music kept low enough to talk. Event dates and themed nights are announced on the bar’s Facebook and Instagram pages.
