Description
Checkpoint Canarias is a Gran Canaria-based non-profit association committed to promoting sexual health and ensuring simple, fast, and supportive access to information, testing, and prevention services. Founded through a community-led initiative, the association focuses on people most exposed to risk, particularly men who have sex with men (MSM), while also welcoming anyone who wants to take care of their sexual health.
Its mission is built around several key areas: prevention and health education, awareness campaigns, outreach work, and guidance towards appropriate testing and healthcare services. Checkpoint Canarias also develops partnerships with public and private organisations, locally and internationally, to share best practices, strengthen the impact of its actions, and improve access to resources.
