Description
Le Pied Marin is a men-only, libertine sauna in Dunkirk (Dunkerque) on the Opal Coast, designed for both deep relaxation and encounters, with an atmosphere that can shift from bright and social to darker and more intimate, depending on what you’re looking for.
On the wellness side, the venue brings together the essentials, done properly: a large steam room (hammam) at 43°C, saturated with humidity and scented with eucalyptus, a bubbling spa for 6 to 7 people (water kept at 35°C, with automatic regulation), and a Finnish sauna built with solid alder wood, tinted glazing, volcanic stones and soft LED lighting, in a dry heat of around 80°C. To cool down, you’ll find individual showers as well as a spacious communal shower room (mixed water at 38°C plus one cold shower), including an accessible shower for guests with disabilities.
For cruising and play, Le Pied Marin offers several dedicated areas, including a corridor maze (bench seating, armchairs, TV screen, glory-hole, condom dispensers), a sling installation, and 8 upstairs cabins in very different sizes, all fully equipped with hygiene and comfort in mind (paper dispenser, intimate gel, disinfectant spray, bin, dim lighting). There are also XL cabins for group encounters (including one with video), plus cabins arranged face-to-face with a glass partition to fine-tune the level of intimacy.
The experience also includes a bright, comfortable bar and snack area under a large glass roof, with a wide choice of soft drinks, hot drinks and sweet/savoury treats, plus a menu for light meals. A dedicated massage room completes the “zen” side of the venue, with a heated professional table and an experienced masseur. When you want a break, the solarium mezzanine is ideal for resting, and on weekend evenings a projector screens films in XXL format (from 8 p.m.), alongside a cinema room with comfortable seating and an extra-large screen.
