WunderBar is a cocktail bar on the ground floor of the Yumbo Centrum, in the busy heart of Playa del Inglés. For anyone after a lively gay bar in Maspalomas with music you can sing along to, it is an easy pick: the terrace seats around 80 people and is one of the best places in the centre to watch the evening crowd go by.
The bar is best known for its Eurovision culture. It celebrates the contest with a dedicated Eurovision Week every year, and guides list regular themed nights, including Eurovision evenings and retro nights, along with live music and pop-up concerts. Homemade cocktails are the house speciality, and the staff have a reputation for being friendly even when the terrace is full.
