Sauna Paraíso is a gay sauna in Madrid set on Calle del Norte, in the Malasaña and Conde Duque area, a short walk from Plaza de España and the Noviciado metro station. It is one of the biggest venues of its kind in the city and draws a mixed crowd of locals and visitors who want a relaxed afternoon or a long night out of the heat and noise of the centre.
The facilities cover a dry sauna, a steam room, a heated pool and a jacuzzi, with showers and lockers on site. Beyond the wet area, guests will find around thirty private cabins, several darkrooms, a cinema room, a fetish zone and a cruising area, plus a bar for a drink between two rounds. Towels, flip-flops and condoms are provided, and Wi-Fi is free.
The sauna opens from 10:00 to midnight during the week and runs without a break from Friday morning to Monday night. Entry is listed at 17 euros from Monday to Thursday and 20 euros at weekends and on public holidays. Relaxing massages can be booked on site for an extra fee.
