Winter Pride Maspalomas returns from 2 to 8 November 2026, and it answers a question most of Europe stops asking in September: where do you go when Pride season is over? The answer is the south coast of Gran Canaria, where November still means afternoons by the pool, a march in the sun and a week of free shows on an open-air stage. Here is the full programme, what things cost, and how to plan the week without burning out by Wednesday.
Winter Pride Maspalomas 2026 at a glance
Winter Pride Maspalomas runs from Monday 2 to Sunday 8 November 2026 in Playa del Ingles, the resort area of Maspalomas, on the south coast of Gran Canaria. Its heart is the Yumbo Centre, the shopping complex that becomes the island’s gay district after dark, where a main stage hosts a live show every evening of the week. Around it, the programme spreads to beach clubs, hotel pools, the port of Puerto Rico and the mountains inland.
The organisers of Winter Pride Maspalomas speak of more than 40,000 visitors from across the globe. Whatever the exact count, the practical consequence is the same: the week fills the resort, and the flights and the walkable rooms go first.
From 12,000 people to the last Pride of the calendar
Winter Pride began in 2014 in Playa del Ingles. According to the Canary Islands tourism board, that first mid-November edition brought together more than 12,000 people, with tribute acts to the great pop and disco icons, a live set by the Spanish duo Baccara and local drag performers on stage.
The idea was simple and turned out to be clever. Gran Canaria already had a large Pride in May. A second one in November gave the island the last slot of the European calendar, at the exact moment the rest of the continent turns grey. Twelve years on, Winter Pride Maspalomas has kept its identity: a Pride that is also a holiday.
The programme, day by day
The official Winter Pride Maspalomas programme is now online, and it follows a clear rhythm. Days belong to pools, boats and excursions. Nights belong to the Yumbo main stage, which opens at 8pm every evening and runs until 2am at the start of the week, then until 3am from Wednesday.
Monday 2 and Tuesday 3 November
The week opens with the BBQ Opening Pool Party at AxelBeach, from noon to 9pm, followed by the first Monday Live Show on the Yumbo stage. The more active can start earlier with a via ferrata climb or a mountain-top paella, both run by A Can Canaria Tour. Tuesday brings Studio 54 at the Blue Marlin Skylounge from noon to 7pm, a morning of Padel with Pride at the BIDA Padel Club and a sunset sea kayaking trip.
Wednesday 4 and Thursday 5 November
Wednesday is Wet and White day at the Amadores Beach Club, from noon to 7pm, dress code in the name. Both Wednesday and Thursday have two boat trips leaving from Puerto Rico: the Gay Boat Sunset Cruise, and the X-Men Only Boat Trip for those who prefer a men-only deck. Thursday adds Follow the Sun at the Hotel Abora Catarina, a second padel morning and a day trip to Las Palmas, the island’s capital. Friday 6 November: Tropicana
Tropicana is the main pool party of Winter Pride Maspalomas, held at Ocean Club from midday to 7pm. The organisers counted almost 5,000 guests last year. The 2026 line-up is led by Cascada live on stage, with DJ Aron, Julien de Bomerani, Andrei Stan, Banana Laser and DJ Odette, plus a High Heels performance. One detail says a lot about demand: on 22 September, six weeks before the party, the sunlounger packs and several VIP jacuzzi suites were already sold out.
Saturday 7 November: the Pride Walk
This is the day the whole of Winter Pride Maspalomas is built around. The pre-party starts at 3pm at the Hotel Abora Catarina by Lopesan, the walk sets off at 4pm along the Avenida de Tirajana, and it ends at the Yumbo Centre, where the after party begins at 6pm. Walking is free and open to everyone. The organisers ask people to dress as boldly as they like and to bring their national flag, which is why the parade looks less like a protest and more like a small United Nations in sequins.

Sunday 8 November: T·Dance and the closing night
The closing pool party, T·Dance, runs from noon to 7pm at the Seven Hotel, with DJs Sharon O Love, Diva Mayday and Max del Principe and drag shows. The Yumbo stage then hosts Pride Stars from 8pm, before the final Sunday Live Show that closes Winter Pride Maspalomas until 3am.
What Winter Pride Maspalomas costs
The good news first: the Pride Walk and the nightly shows on the Yumbo main stage cost nothing. You can spend the whole week there without buying a single ticket.
The paid events are priced as follows on the official ticketing site, each with a booking fee of 2.50 euros:
- BBQ Opening Pool Party: 25 euros
- Studio 54, Wet and White and T·Dance: 30 euros each
- Tropicana: 37.50 euros for a regular ticket
- Sunset cruise or men-only boat trip: 79 euros
- A place on one of the two Pride Walk floats, named Proud and Paradise: 90 euros, free bar included
Groups get a better deal: a four-for-three pack on Wet and White, a six-for-five on Tropicana. At the other end of the scale, VIP beds, cabins and jacuzzi suites run from a few hundred to 1,500 euros for up to twelve people.

Weather and what to pack
November in Maspalomas averages 23 C by day and 17 C at night, with a sea at 22 C, around seven hours of sunshine a day and only three days with some rain across the month. Pack for the beach, plus one warm layer for the late nights at the Yumbo, when the evening air cools down.
Pace yourself
Seven days of pool parties and 3am finishes is a marathon, not a sprint. Pick two or three paid events, keep Saturday free for the walk, and use the quiet mornings for the beach or the dunes. Drink water in the sun, and remember that the free main stage is there every night if your budget or your energy runs short.
